So by the advice of my most esteemed modeling role model, I'm going to start using DA more. Do people actually getting modeling gigs out of here? Who's here - like, besides freelancers, do actual scouts and magazines check out stuff here? OMP turned me off - I don't work well with cliques and politics. It seems as if your high school status (for example: I the outcast) follows you to college and the real world. Ugh.

So how many people on DeviantArt are actually displaying their own work? Some of the "art" I've seen is obviously stuff copied from someone else's cyber-canvas. How many of you are serious photographers and models looking to network? Those are really the only people I'm here for. Just like MySpace, I don't want to "add" anyone as a friend without knowing their primary intent. Are you here to compliment and critique my work? Or do you just want another pretty doll to look at. I am no fucking doll.
